You should not miss this Bakery when you visit Longreach. Great place to start your day. Coffee, pies, wraps, pastries etc. Affordable prices too. Nice fresh ground coffee - must have before going to work (good for hang over too). Also try their pre made fresh sandwiches and you will not gonna regret it, tasty, delicious and big serving. Staffs are ok.

Excellent. 5 star bread

Just bought the last 2 pies at 9.30 in the morning. Traveling through Longreach. My husband enjoyed his curry pie. My chicken and corn pie had about 2 small pieces of chicken and about the same in corn. The finger bun that we purchased was thrown out as it was that hard and stale it was inedible.

Staff are welcoming but the pasties are nasty. They are NOT Cornish pasties.. taste nothing like a paste and pastry is flat and doughy. $ 5 is too much for pies and pasties. 2/10

The counter service was friendly and efficient but the barrista was slow...if she had moved any slower she might move backwards. Considering how busy it was she might need to pick up her pace a bit and learn to smile

Very average....heard their ads on the radio which made us go but there was little product range. My pie pastry was overcooked which as experienced bakers they should pick up on and not serve....there were others in the display that were similar....sorry.

Nice country bakery in the down town Longreach. Fast and friendly service, with a wide range of bakery items. Fresh sandwiches and wraps available. Indoor seating or outdoor along Eagle Street. On street parking next to bakery.

First metamorphosis from a bread shop bakery to an eatery occurred about 15 years ago as something of a curiosity to locals, who nonetheless embraced the concept.Now with other cheap eats in town, Merino, look to their core products, bread and baked goods, and provide all that most customers could want. The pies and sausage rolls are on the better side of good, and the sandwich bar is popular for good reason Coffee is probably not going to win any statewide competitions but is however reliably drinkable. If you are in Longreach for more than a day, you will eat here, and find that it delivers on your expectations.
